The type of checking can be adjusted through application technique. Applying the spray at a shorter distance concentrates the cooling in a smaller area, resulting in tighter, finer “spider web” patterns. Spraying from a greater distance distributes the cooling more broadly, creating wider and more open crack formations.

Application and compatibility
For optimal results, ensure the nitrocellulose lacquer is fully cured. A curing period of 2 to 3 weeks is recommended before application. Shake the spray well and apply in light passes at a distance of approximately 15–25 cm, working in sections depending on the desired pattern and intensity.
